Belco Electric is an electrical contracting and service company. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Belco was founded in 1972 by Lloyd Bird, who is currently President of the Company. Executive Vice-President, Gordon Watts, directs the operations of the Company.

Belco prides itself in offering comprehensive electrical contracting and engineering services. The Company provides services for the commercial, residential and industrial market and operates primarily in the States of Georgia and Florida where it holds both electrical engineering and electrical contracting licenses.

The Company's customers include plant engineers, building owners and managers, general contractors, construction managers, developers, and home owners. Belco is fully licensed in both electrical and low voltage ( data, phone, catv) work and carries comprehensive liability, auto and workers' compensation insurance. Belco is a state-certified "Drug-Free Workplace" and conducts criminal background checks and drug tests on all new employees. Additionally, all employee's driving records are verified for acceptability and references are checked with previous employers.

Belco has made quite a name for itself in building an extensive safety program that has dramatically reduced its injury frequency rate and claims costs. "Safety First" is our company's logo and is inscribed on the company's safety jackets which are awarded to all field employees who are accident free for at least one year.

Unlike many companies, Belco measures its customer satisfaction and uses the feedback it receives in order to improve the way it does business. Monthly surveys are mailed to customers to solicit any compliments and complaints they may have.
